The Buffalo Bills are coming off a thrilling victory over the Miami Dolphins on 'Thursday Night Football.' The Bills sit atop the AFC East after a Sunday slate of games saw both the New England Patriots and New York Jets lose their matchups.
Ahead of their Week 4 matchup against the New Orleans Saints, the team brought in a much-needed reinforcement to the practice squad, with a familiar face returning to Western New York.
After losing guard Dan Feeney to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers , Buffalo was down to only two offensive linemen on its practice squad: Travis Clayton (International Pathway Program) and Kendrick Green. The team signed offensive lineman Nick Broeker to the practice squad. Getting some depth at the position with someone the organization already has ties with is a win-win for Buffalo. Broeker is an excellent practice squad addition at the early stages of the season.
The Bills have signed OL Nick Broeker to the practice squad. He was originally drafted by the team in the seventh round in 2023. Spot opened up with the Buccaneers signing Dan Feeney to their active roster.

Broeker was drafted by the Buffalo Bills in the seventh round of the 2023 NFL draft. He was unable to see the field and was waived by Buffalo as part of its roster cuts in August of 2023. Immediately after, he was claimed off waivers by the Houston Texans. Over two seasons in Houston, he appeared in nine total snaps on offense, with 52 snaps on special teams.
He was waived in May 2025 by the Texans and joined the Pittsburgh Steelers, where he was waived just three months into his tenure. He was then claimed off waivers by the Dallas Cowboys, before being waived just weeks later as part of the team's roster cuts.
A smart pickup by the Bills organization in a low-risk, high-reward move. Buffalo has quite the talent on the practice squad, even before the Broeker pickup. Depth is the name of the game, especially considering all the injuries the team has sustained in recent weeks.
