After four seasons in New York, ex-Giants head coach Brian Daboll could soon be on the sideline for one of the G-Men's most hated rivals.

Daboll was fired by the Giants after Week 10 this season following the team's pitiful 2-8 start. But he did win Coach of the Year in 2022 on the way to leading NY to its first playoff win since the organization's Super Bowl XLVI victory.

Unfortunately for Daboll, things went a bit sideways after that — going 6-11 in 2023 before the departure of Saquon Barkley helped sink the Giants even lower to 3-14 the following year.

Now according to reports, Daboll could rejoin Barkley in Philly working under Nick Sirianni and the Eagles along with another one of his former players.

Brian Daboll to interview for Eagles OC opening

Per NFL insider Jordan Schultz, the former Giants coach has emerged as a candidate for Philadelphia's offensive coordinator opening after the organization decided to move off of first-time OC Kevin Patullo.

"Sources: The Eagles are interviewing former Giants HC Brian Daboll for their open OC position," Schultz reported.

Noting, "Nick Sirianni was Daboll’s WRs coach in Kansas City when Daboll was the OC in 2012, and Daboll was also Jalen Hurts’ OC at Alabama in 2017."

Others interested in hiring Daboll as well

On top of the Eagles' reported interest, Daboll is also believed to be in the running for the Titans HC job, as well as the Chargers' OC vacancy.

Speaking with NFL Network colleagues Tom Pelissero and Ian Rapoport on Sunday's episode of "The Insiders," Mike Garafolo reported that all three teams are looking to potentially add Daboll to their respective staffs.

"Former Giants head coach Brian Daboll, we told you yesterday he's going to interview withe Chargers for their offensive coordinator role, we expect that to happen with the Eagles as well some time this week," Garafolo shared.

"Remember he is a head coaching candidate for the Tennessee Titans, and you start to think about the potential pairing there with Cam Ward, with what Daboll has done with some young quarterbacks in recent memory, Josh Allen being one of them up in Buffalo... Heck, even Tommy DeVito. So expect Daboll to interview with these teams and maybe even more."

As much as it stung watching Saquon go to the Eagles and have immediate Super Bowl success, Philly could really pour some salt in the wound if Daboll is able to turn the team's offense around in 2026.
