The Denver Broncos are making their final preparations for the upcoming showdown against the New York Giants. It'll be a celebration, with legendary receiver Demaryius Thomas being inducted into the Ring of Honor during halftime.
Leading up to the matchup, edge rusher Jonathon Cooper turned heads with his comments about Giants quarterback Jaxson Dart . Cooper wasn't the only one getting in on the fun, as fellow edge rusher and superstar Nik Bonitto threw some shade at the Giants as well.
While it wasn't on the mic, Bonitto sent a provocative direct message on X, formerly known as Twitter, letting his feelings be known about the upcoming matchup. It came after a deleted post in which Bonitto said, "I've never seen such delusional fan base."
It's safe to say that Bonitto is ready to get to work, hoping to continue on his impressive start to the 2025 campaign.

There's some bad blood heading into the matchup, with both Bonitto and Cooper not holding back with their thoughts and comments ahead of kickoff.
Rightfully so, as both Bonitto and Cooper have been instrumental in the Denver Broncos leading the league in sacks through the early portion of the season. The pair have combined for 12.5 sacks and 21 quarterback hits through just six games, proving to be one of the most lethal pass-rushing duos in football.

With emotions running high as the Broncos honor Demaryius Thomas, the defense will look to set the tone early, as they've done nearly all season. With Cooper, Bonitto, and company getting pressure on the quarterback, it allows players like cornerback Pat Surtain to shine in the defensive backfield.
Bonitto and Cooper have been relentless, and another big performance could help Denver extend its winning streak. If they keep Dart under pressure, the Broncos might just deliver a fitting tribute to a franchise legend.
