Chicago Bears quarterback Caleb Williams has set the franchise rookie record for most passing yards in a season against the Minnesota Vikings on Sunday at Soldier Field.
The No. 1 overall pick entered the Week 12 contest only 178 yards away from breaking Mitchell Trubisky's record of 2,193 set in 2017, breaking it on a 37-yard screen pass to wide receiver DJ Moore in the third quarter.

As of writing, Williams has 2,236 yards in 12 games this season.
The rookie has looked better since the firing of offensive coordinator Shane Waldron the past two weeks, getting the ball out of his hand quicker and completing passes at an efficient rate.
As of writing when the Bears are trailing the Vikings 24-10 early in the fourth quarter, Williams has completed 21-for-31 passes for 230 yards. His favorite target on Sunday is Keenan Allen, who has set season high marks for catches (8) and yards (86).
