Chiefs-Eagles Thursday injury report: WR Xavier Worthy is making shocking progress

When Kansas City Chiefs wide receiver Xavier Worthy went down with a shoulder injury against the Los Angeles Chargers in Week 1, many feared the worst.

Things weren't looking great for the second-year star, and he was quickly diagnosed with a separated shoulder. However, coach Andy Reid delivered some good news on Wednesday when he said that Worthy having surgery wasn't under consideration.

Worthy sat out practice on Wednesday, but to everybody's surprise, he is participating on Thursday.

Whether or not Worthy is able to play on Sunday against the Philadelphia Eagles remains to be seen, but the fact that he's able to participate in practice this quickly is a great sign moving forward. Below is a refresh of Wednesday's practice designations, and we'll have Thursday's as soon as they become official.
