Chiefs TE Travis Kelce delivers knockout blows in division

With three TD catches in Sunday's win over the Los Angeles Chargers, Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce leads the league in touchdown catches with 11. He's saving his best performances for AFC West opponents.

This season alone, the NFL's top tight end has seven touchdowns in three games against the division. Kelce has helped the Chiefs (8-2) jump to a three-game lead in the AFC West with seven regular-season games left.

Kelce may also lead the league in accolades from his quarterback.

In Sunday's 30-27 win, the Chiefs capped a 75-yard drive in the final two minutes with a 17-yard touchdown to Kelce.

Last season, in similar fashion on the road against the Chargers, Kelce grabbed a pass across the middle and shook the Los Angeles defense on his way to a 34-yard TD in a 34-28 win in OT. Earlier, a Mahomes-to-Kelce seven-yard TD pass had tied the score.

In 2020, Mahomes found Kelce wide open in the end zone from 22 yards with 28 seconds left in a 35-31 win by Kansas City.

With 115 yards receiving Sunday, Kelce set an NFL record for most 100-yard games for tight ends with 33, per Statmuse.
