CMC highlights SGP on 'MNF'

We'll put a bow on Week 11 of the NFL season with an NFC West battle in Mexico City. With Kyler Murray out and the Cardinals sporting two glaring defensive vulnerabilities, our betting approach tonight takes a relatively simple turn.

+350 SGP for MNF

First, the play, which can be found on DraftKings under their Same Game Parlay option.

  • 49ers moneyline
  • Christian McCaffrey touchdown
  • George Kittle 50+ receiving yards

San Francisco is in a good spot to take home a win, and oddsmakers would obviously agree given that the Niners are currently 10-point favorites. When we initially saw the spread it felt like too much, even with Kyler Murray out. After all, divisional games tend to be tight, right? It doesn't seem San Fran has gotten the memo on that front, as they've gone 3-0 in the NFC West this season, winning each game by 15 or more points. Their offense is healthy and clicking and they have weapons on defense to stifle a Colt McCoy-led offense, we're confident the 49ers take home this win on a neutral field.

After getting eased into the offense post-trade, Christian McCaffrey has rightfully taken complete control of this backfield. Over the past two games, McCaffrey has 44 touches. No other running back on the roster has one. McCaffrey's usage should remain, and with Arizona allowing the sixth-most touchdowns to RBs this season, it's logical to expect a McCaffrey touchdown tonight.

We wrap up our SGP with George Kittle, who finds himself in a smash spot this evening. No team is allowing more yards to the TE position than Arizona, at 77.8 yards per game. Kittle is averaging 57.6 yards per game over his last five, with some big games and a few quiet outings. We're confident tonight will bring solid Kittle production. In his last two games vs. the Cardinals, the tight end has finished with 92 and 101 yards.

It's nothing crazy for us tonight, but this feels like a solid base to build around for a SGP tonight. By all means, stretch this out if you'd like a parlay at better odds, McCaffrey's yards, taking a Niners alternate spread instead of their moneyline, and more Kittle yards are all on the table. We opt for a safe floor in the form of this +350 SGP.

In the news ...

USA's first World Cup fixture is this afternoon — The World Cup got going yesterday with a 2-0 Ecuador win over Qatar, and now the full slates begin. The United States will begin their Group B play against Wales today at 2 p.m. ET. Wales will have the most talented player on the pitch in Gareth Bale, but there are reasons to be optimistic about the USA's chances today. America's best path to grab three points today and position themselves well in Group B lies in their forward group. Three from among Christian Pulisic, Tim Weah, Gio Reyna, and Jesus Ferreira will lead the line, and we like the firepower up front to net a few goals and take down Wales. We grabbed the U.S. to win at +140. England easily handled Iran this morning in the other Group B match.

Cowboys, Chiefs grab big wins in Week 11 — As we take stock of the Sunday games in Week 11, it's Dallas and Kansas City that stand out. The Cowboys made a statement, destroying the previously 8-1 Vikings in Minnesota, 40-3. Dallas is now 7-3 and tied for second in the NFC East. If the season ended today, the Cowboys would be the fifth seed. Meanwhile, the Chiefs have taken control of the AFC after a big divisional 30-27 win over the Chargers. Kansas City, thanks to a record-breaking performance from Travis Kelce, is now 8-2 and alone at the top of the conference. The Chiefs are now tied with the Bills as the betting favorite to win the Super Bowl, with odds currently at +450.

Damian Lillard expected to miss time with calf injury — For the second time this year, Blazers star Damian Lillard has suffered a calf strain, with this one expected to sideline him for an undisclosed amount of time. After missing most of last year with muscle injuries, this could be cause for concern for Blazers fans and bettors. Portland has had a promising start, their 10-6 record is tied for second-best in the West.
