The Indianapolis Colts have a massive game on deck in Week 12 as they travel to Arrowhead to take on the Kansas City Chiefs. The team will take the field on Wednesday to start their practice week. Before they do, though, the team announced a reasonably large list of roster moves.

They signed four players to their practice squad and released three others to make room for them. The team signed defensive linemen Viliami Fehoko Jr. and Chris Wormley. The signing of Wormley was already leaked a day prior, and the eight-year veteran's positional flexibility on the defensive line makes him an intriguing addition. The two other moves by the Colts are what I want to focus on right now, though. The team signed safety George Odum and WR Eli Pancol.
Odum began his career with the Colts after signing with the team in 2018 as an undrafted free agent. He went on to make their roster and spent three years in Indianapolis. He quickly became a key special teamer while also being a key reserve at safety. In 2020, he got some significant recognition by being selected as a first-team All-Pro special teamer.
Odum consistently showing up on special teams and making a name for himself after entering the league as an UDFA made fans rally behind him. He became a fan favorite, and many were sad to see him leave in 2022. His first year after leaving, he was named a second-team All-Pro special teamer with the San Francisco 49ers. Injuries over the last two seasons led to his release this year, but he is now returning to the Colts.
The Colts held a workout earlier this season that included rookie UDFA WR Eli Pancol. He began his NFL career as a UDFA with the Jacksonville Jaguars after a five-year collegiate career at Duke. Pancol appeared in 57 games, recording 130 receptions, 1,710 yards, and 14 touchdowns, and his best year was his last, where he set his career highs across the board with 60 receptions, 798 yards, and nine touchdowns.
Pancol’s athleticism makes him an intriguing player to add and bank on him developing at the NFL level. He earned a 9.73 RAS score thanks in part to his impressive 4.40 40-yard dash. Another element of this signing that fans will likely find interesting is the fact that Pancol is from Indiana. He graduated from Pendleton Heights High School, where he played both basketball and football. Now he gets the chance to play for his hometown team, with his position coach being Colts legend Reggie Wayne.
Eli Pancol is a WR prospect in the 2025 draft class. He scored a 9.73 RAS out of a possible 10.00. This ranked 105 out of 3815 WR from 1987 to 2025.https://t.co/kATSr4wIp8 pic.twitter.com/7bz67g5bTY
