Former Alabama DB Ha Ha Clinton-Dix criticizes players choosing to redshirt then transfer

Ha Ha Clinton-Dix is not a fan of players choosing to redshirt, sit out the rest of the football season and then transfer.

This is a growing trend in college football with several players choosing to do so. The former NFL safety and Alabama football’s Director of Player Development feels this is not in the best interest of collegiate athletes.

“Players are opting out to redshirt a year because they didn’t get playing time? What about creating good habits and working on your craft? Just quit. No more reps at practice no more routines? Just go into the portal rusty? Got it.” Clinton-Dix posted to X.
