Odell Beckham Jr. is officially bringing back a familiar look with the New York Giants.

Beckham’s return to the franchise where his NFL career began already created plenty of nostalgia for Giants fans, but the team added another layer to the reunion Tuesday. New York announced that Beckham will once again wear No. 13, the number he made famous during his spectacular first stint with the organization.

It is a fitting choice for the veteran wide receiver as he begins his latest chapter under head coach John Harbaugh. Beckham became one of the NFL’s biggest stars while wearing No. 13 in New York, producing highlight-reel catches and three consecutive Pro Bowl seasons to begin his career.

Now, the number is officially back.

Odell Beckham Jr. Returning to No. 13 With Giants

The Giants announced Beckham’s jersey decision Tuesday, with NFL insider Ari Meirov sharing the news on X.

“The #Giants have announced Odell Beckham Jr. is going back to No. 13,” Meirov wrote.

For Giants fans, Beckham and No. 13 have been connected since New York selected the LSU star with the No. 12 overall pick in the 2014 NFL Draft.

Beckham immediately became a sensation.

He recorded 91 receptions for 1,305 yards and 12 touchdowns in just 12 games as a rookie, earning NFL Offensive Rookie of the Year honors. He followed that performance with 1,450 receiving yards in 2015 and 1,367 yards in 2016.

Across five seasons with the Giants, Beckham totaled 390 receptions for 5,476 yards and 44 touchdowns before being traded to the Cleveland Browns in 2019.

His career has taken him through Cleveland, Los Angeles, Baltimore and Miami since leaving New York, but No. 13 remains synonymous with his Giants tenure.

Beckham’s return will ultimately be judged by what he can provide Harbaugh’s offense in 2026. Still, Tuesday’s announcement gives Giants fans another reason to feel like one of the franchise’s most recognizable stars is truly back home.
