It's been a rags-to-riches story so far for Jacory Croskey-Merritt. When most prospects would have accepted their fate and potentially thrown in the towel, the Washington Commanders running back proved that he is made of sterner stuff. Everything happens for a reason. Croskey-Merritt may not have liked it at the time, but he ended up in the right place. And there was enough inner fire within to make his presence felt when most didn't believe in his capabilities. Croskey-Merritt earned his spot on the 53-man roster comfortably. He became a cult hero among the fan base. More importantly, he can turn on the style when reps come his way in a competitive setting.
