Jets will go 'all out' in pursuit of Aaron Rodgers

The future of Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers is still uncertain. However, if the four-time MVP returns to play in 2023 and desires a change of address, the New York Jets will reportedly do everything they can to acquire him.

According to Pro Football Network's Tony Pauline, Jets general manager Joe Douglas told others within NFL circles at this week's Senior Bowl in Mobile, Alabama, that the team would go "all out" to bring Rodgers to New York.

The Las Vegas Raiders join the Jets as one of several teams possibly interested in Rodgers. On Thursday, Rodgers' former teammate, Raiders wideout Devante Adams, added fuel to the fire. While answering questions on Twitter, Adams responded, "Mine" when asked which neighborhood the quarterback should move to.

Many expect the Raiders and Jets to be highly interested in Rodgers this offseason since both teams have substantial question marks under center. Vegas has an opening following Derek Carr's unceremonious exit. Meanwhile, only two seasons after selecting Zach Wilson No. 2 overall in the 2021 NFL Draft, the Jets have seemingly lost confidence in the 23-year-old.

While it won't be a surprise to see the Raiders and Jets battle it out this offseason for Rodgers, all points are moot for now, according to the quarterback. Earlier this week, appearing on the "Pat McAfee Show," Rodgers said, "there's already conversations going on that aren't involving me." Rodgers said he'd let everyone know his plans for the future "one way or the other" once he makes up his mind.
