Joe Buck, one of the voices of ESPN’s ‘Monday Night Football’, is reportedly set for an exciting new job.

Buck and Troy Aikman joined the network in 2022 after spending two decades at FOX Sports.

Two of the more respected voices in football, the pair debuted as the lead broadcasters on ‘MNF’ that year.

According to a report from FrontOffice Sports, Buck will be hosting a new show soon.

The defunct sports version of the iconic game show ‘Jeopardy!’ is reportedly in the works and is expected to return as ‘ESPN Jeopardy!’ this summer. It will stream on Hulu and Disney+ and could also air on television.

Buck is said to be nearing a deal to take charge of the inbound show.

“Joe Buck is closing in on a deal to host ESPN Jeopardy!, sources told Front Office Sports,” the outlet reports.

“The program is expected to air on Hulu and Disney+, and may also run on linear TV on ABC and ESPN’s streaming platforms this summer, sources said.”

Joe Buck Has Hosted The Game Show Before

Buck is no stranger to ‘Jeopardy!’, having guest-hosted the show for a week in 2021 following the death of longtime host Alex Trebek, who passed away the previous year.

‘Sports Jeopardy!’ isn’t new either. Dan Patrick hosted it on Crackle from 2014 to 2016.

The new, upcoming iteration, ‘ESPN Jeopardy!’ is not expected to feature many contestants from the general population.

“ESPN Jeopardy! is expected to largely have celebrity contestants as opposed to drawing from the general population. Multiple ESPN talents are believed to be participating,” FOS adds.

No names have been revealed regarding the company’s talents, but we can expect the likes of Pat McAfee, Stephen A. Smith, Ryan Clark and Chris Russo to participate once it gets off the ground.

Meanwhile, Buck’s daughter, Natalie, has gone viral online after her appearance at an NBA playoff game over the weekend.

She’s also involved in television projects.
