The ink on Minnesota Vikings WR Justin Jefferson’s four-year contract extension was dry for but an hour before Drew Rosenhaus, the agent for Miami Dolphins receiver Tyreek Hill, was already talking about wanting more money for his client.
During an interview with Josh Moser of WSVN in Miami, Rosenhaus disclosed that he’d already been in contact with the Dolphins front office about negotiating a new deal for his client.
“Let's just say it's safe to acknowledge that I've been in touch with (GM) Chris Grier and (senior VP of football administration) Brandon Shore of the Dolphins,” Rosenhaus stated. “I have a fluid line of communication with them, and I've shared with them how Tyreek feels. And I'll also reiterate that Tyreek has said that he would love to finish his career here with the Dolphins. Without getting into any more specifics, the Dolphins know how we feel.”
Hill was the highest-paid receiver in the NFL when he joined the Dolphins in 2022 after signing four-year, $120M deal that paid him $30M per season. But now, Hill is the fourth-highest paid WR behind Jefferson ($35M per year), Philadelphia’s A.J. Brown ($32M per year) and Detroit’s Amon-Ra St. Brown ($30.02M per year), according to Over the Cap.

In his two seasons in Miami, Hill has logged consecutive 119-catch, 1,700-yard seasons and been named a First Team All-Pro both years. Many consider him one of the three best receivers in the league.
Though Miami just gave fellow WR Jaylen Waddle a lucrative new deal (he recently signed a three-year, $84.75M extension), the team has enough cap space to give Hill a raise as well with a little over $18M in cap space with Xavien Howard’s contract officially off the books.
While it’s not expected that Hill will hold out for more money, his situation is certainly one worth monitoring.
