Cooper started 57 college games and posted a 4.97/4.99 40, 28-inch vertical, 9-foot broad jump and 26 bench reps at 6-foot-6, 326 pounds.
A top-30 visit denotes one of the 30 prospect visits allowed for teams during the pre-draft period. The Chiefs host prospects varying from potential first-round selections to those who go undrafted, providing them a glimpse into NFL life in Kansas City. Although no on-field workouts will occur, teams can utilize this opportunity to conduct meetings with coaching staff for film analysis, perform physical exams with team doctors, tour the facilities, and more.
Cooper is one of the more seasoned offensive lineman in this year's draft class, appearing in 60 games during his collegian career at Texas State and Oklahoma State, starting 57. In 2023 he earned honorable mention all-Big 12 honors.
Unfortunately, Cooper's 2024 season was cut short when he suffered a knee injury after making eight starts. However, he was able to participate in the 2025 East-West Shrine Bowl. Cooper has mostly played at left tackle, where the Chiefs are obviously looking for a big upgrade in 2025.
Cooper's strength is in pass protection. He has a big frame at 6-foot-7 and is quick on his feet. Despite his long dimensions, he could stand to put some more weight on at 290 pounds. Cooper has struggled against powerful pass rushers as he is inconsistent with his ability to anchor in with his blocks.
If he can fill out and get stronger, he could really round out his game. He won't likely be starting material, but has the potential to carve out a career as a solid backup or swing tackle. Cooper is projected to be a late-round pick or possibly even an undrafted free agent.
