Miami Dolphins Sign Fatorma Mulbah

The Miami Dolphins have added another young player to their defensive front, signing defensive tackle Fatorma Mulbah as the team continues to build depth along the defensive line ahead of the 2026 NFL season.

Mulbah spent the majority of last season on the NY Jets practice squad, and he also played briefly in the UFL.

While this may not be the type of signing that dominates national headlines, it is the kind of move that could prove valuable as Miami works its way through training camp and the preseason.

Mulbah enters the NFL with an impressive physical profile.

At 6-foot-4 and approximately 306 pounds, he possesses the size teams look for in an interior defensive lineman.

He began his collegiate career at Penn State before transferring to West Virginia, where he developed into a full-time starter and one of the Mountaineers’ most reliable run defenders.

During his final season at West Virginia, Mulbah recorded 50 tackles, 4.5 tackles for loss, and consistently showed the ability to occupy blockers while helping shut down opposing rushing attacks. His toughness and willingness to do the dirty work made him a valuable piece of the Mountaineers’ defense.

NFL Journey Continues

After going undrafted, he signed with the New York Jets as a rookie free agent, spending training camp with the organization before later joining their practice squad.

He also spent time with the Houston Gamblers of the UFL as he continued developing his game and waiting for another NFL opportunity.

Now, that opportunity comes with the Miami Dolphins.

Competing for a Roster Spot

Making Miami’s final 53-man roster won’t be easy.

The Dolphins have invested heavily in their defensive front and already feature several established contributors.

His best path may come as a run-stuffing defensive tackle who can eat up blocks, create opportunities for linebackers, and provide valuable snaps in short-yardage situations. Coaches also value players who consistently play with effort and physicality—qualities Mulbah displayed throughout his college career.
