Miami Dolphins to Work Out WR Elijhah Badger
The Miami Dolphins continue to leave no stone unturned as they prepare for the 2026 NFL season.
NFL Insider Aaron Wilson reports the team is bringing in UFL wide receiver Elijhah Badger for a workout.
While a workout doesn’t guarantee a contract, it does signal that Miami is continuing to evaluate potential additions to improve its depth heading into training camp and the preseason. For a Dolphins team looking to build competition throughout the roster under new head coach Jeff Hafley, Badger is an intriguing player worth taking a closer look at.

Badger made a name for himself during his college career at Arizona State before transferring to the University of Florida for his final season. The 6-foot-1, 200-pound receiver possesses good size, strong hands, and the ability to create explosive plays down the field.
After going undrafted in 2025, Badger signed with the Kansas City Chiefs but was released during final roster cuts. He later joined the UFL’s Orlando Storm, where he continued to develop while showcasing the athleticism that made him a productive college receiver.
The Dolphins’ receiving corps is led by established veterans, but is also one of the weakest position groups on the roster.
Badger offers several traits that could appeal to Miami:
Strong performances in the UFL have become a pathway back to the NFL for several players in recent years, and Miami appears interested in seeing whether Badger could be the next success story.
The Dolphins are continuing to explore every avenue to improve their roster, and giving Elijhah Badger an opportunity to work out is another example of that approach. Whether he earns a contract or simply leaves a positive impression, the former Florida Gator and UFL standout has another chance to prove he belongs on an NFL roster.
As Miami continues building competition across the depth chart, these under-the-radar workouts often become some of the most interesting stories to follow throughout training camp. With Badger’s combination of size, athletic ability, and recent professional experience, he is certainly a player worth keeping an eye on in the coming days.
