The Minnesota Vikings continue to find out about their 2025 schedule ahead of time, as the National Football League has controlled leaks across the board. The latest one will have Vikings fans either thrilled or disappointed.
Contrary to our own deductive reasoning from earlier this week , the Vikings will be playing on Christmas Day, hosting the Detroit Lions as a part of a triple header.

This is a surprising one, as last year, the teams who played the Saturday prior were the teams who played on Christmas Day. This year, the NFL seems to be straying away from that.
The Vikings are more than likely going to be playing on four days rest on Christmas Day, which is a disappointing outcome for both the player and the person. The good news is that the game is at home rather than on the road.
The game will be a part of a triple header on Christmas Day with the time yet to be determined. It's a popular day for the NFL, as they slaughtered the NBA's five game Christmas Day slate with just two games: Kansas City Chiefs vs. Pittsburgh Steelers and Baltimore Ravens vs. Houston Texans.
We will continue to provide updates on the schedule as things continue to progress forward throughout the day.
