Myles Garrett names his ‘All-Graveyard team’ of sack victims

Cleveland Browns edge rusher Myles Garrett is famous for decorating his front yard with gravestones for the high-profile quarterbacks he has sacked during his career. As it turns out, there are a few he is more proud of than the rest.

Garrett is preparing to face the Pittsburgh Steelers in Week 6, where he will have the opportunity to sack Aaron Rodgers for the first time in his career. Garrett admitted that he would be “honored” to put Rodgers in his graveyard, and that the future Hall-of-Famer would “probably get propped up a little bit higher” because of his stature.

As for an All-Graveyard Team? Garrett had a few ideas.

“Top five list, top 10 list?” Garrett said, via Mary Kay Cabot of cleveland.com. “I’m sure Pat (Mahomes) will be on there. Ben (Roethlisberger) would be on there. (Tom) Brady would be on there. Let’s see, I think one day (Justin) Herbert will be in there. He’s going to be a Hall of Famer one day, but after that, I don’t know. Hell, I don’t remember all the names I’ve sacked. I’m just worried about the next one.”

That is not a bad set of names. In addition to that group, Garrett has also claimed the likes of Joe Burrow and Lamar Jackson for his front yard decorations. He has been hoping to add Rodgers to the collection ever since the quarterback joined the AFC North this offseason.

Garrett has four sacks through five games so far this season, which is a slow pace by his lofty standards. Rodgers might present him with the perfect motivation to get that number up.
