Philadelphia Eagles wide receiver DeVonta Smith has had a productive start to his NFL career. Now in his fifth season in the league, Smith has caught 363 passes for 4,765 yards and 30 touchdowns in 74 games played.
Smith was selected with the 10th overall pick in the 2021 NFL Draft by the Eagles after an unbelievable career with the Alabama Crimson Tide, which included winning a Heisman Trophy in his senior year.
As the Eagles have jumped out to an 8-3 record to begin the 2025 season, Smith has been great again. The 27-year-old leads the team in receptions (55) and receiving yards (754) to go along with three scores.
After being shut down against the Detroit Lions two weeks ago, only catching one pass for eight yards, he had a big bounce-back performance in Philadelphia's loss to the Dallas Cowboys on Sunday. He hauled in six of his 11 targets for 89 yards in the losing effort.
On Friday, Smith, quarterback Jalen Hurts and the rest of the Eagles are set for a battle of two first-place teams, as they will take on the Chicago Bears.
Before the game, the NFL shared a social media post about the cleats Smith will be wearing against the Bears.
"DeVonta Smith's #MyCauseMyCleats are dedicated to the @Eagles Autism Foundation," the caption read.

The "My Cause My Cleats" initiative, which is run by the league, gives players the opportunity to wear custom cleats that will be auctioned off, with the money going to a charity of their choosing.
The proceeds from Smith's bright, lime-colored cleats with toy train and puzzle piece designs on them will be going toward the Eagles Autism Foundation, which aims to make an impact in the autism community.
Smith will show off the cleats when the Eagles and Bears kick off at 3 p.m. ET Friday at Lincoln Financial Field.
