Sunday’s season opener between the Vikings and Packers has a new level of intrigue with the “NFL Today” pregame show broadcasting live from Minneapolis.

The NFL on CBS show, featuring James Brown, Bill Cowher, Russell Wilson, Kyle Long, and former Vikings wide receiver Nate Burleson, will broadcast live outside U.S. Bank Stadium.

Fans can find the broadcast platform at Medtronic Plaza, in front of the Vikings Legacy Ship, adjacent to Chicago Avenue.

The main show airs on CBS from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m., but NFL Today+ is a two-hour version: the first hour runs from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. and streams on Paramount+, CBS Sports HQ, and the NFL on CBS YouTube channel.

CBS will have a doubleheader on Sunday, with the Vikings and Packers kicking off at 3:25 p.m. For fans watching in Minnesota, Wisconsin, Iowa, and the Dakotas, the early game will feature the Houston Texans against the Buffalo Bills at 12 p.m.

Jim Nantz, J.J. Watt, and Tracey Wolfson will be on the call for the Vikings-Packers battle.
