Dan Quinn is probably relieved to focus on football once again. The Washington Commanders had a mini-bye to reflect on their disastrous primetime loss, so everyone should be raring to go in Week 3 against the Las Vegas Raiders.
Everyone available, that is.
The Commanders are currently dealing with some severe injury issues. Some are short-term, others are season-ending. Quinn is navigating a rough wave, but a win in front of another sold-out crowd at Northwest Stadium will make all the hard work worth it.
The Raiders won't be doing them any favors. They are coming off a short week and will be eager to bounce back after a disappointing loss to the Los Angeles Chargers. It's a winnable game for the Commanders, but the visiting squad is thinking the same with some new vulnerability in Washington.
According to the latest odds from FanDuel Sportsbook, the Commanders are 3.0-point favorites at home to the Raiders in Week 3.
Anyone wishing to wager on the Commanders' money line can get odds of -154 currently (bet $154 to win $100). The Raiders are narrow underdogs for the clash, but they aren't without a chance at +130 (bet $100 to win $130).
FanDuel Sportsbook has set the over/under at 43.5 points for the contest.
Game odds refresh periodically and are subject to change.
With Jayden Daniels missing the contest with a sprained knee, the Commanders will be relying on veteran backup Marcus Mariota to get the job done. He's experienced enough to step into the fold and provide assured production, and there is supreme confidence in his capabilities from those in the building.
Mariota's over/under for passing yards in Week 3 stands at 204.5 with FanDuel Sportsbook, which is available at -112 in both directions (bet $112 to win $100). He's projected to complete around 19.5 passes from 30.5 attempts. The former Oregon star's over/under for passing touchdowns is 1.5.
