Packers highest-graded player vs. Vikings may surprise you
Packers highest-graded player vs. Vikings may surprise you 5 Green Bay Packers wide receiver Christian Watson (9) makes a first down catch against Minnesota Vikings cornerback Isaiah Rodgers (2) in the fourth quarter during their football game Sunday, November 23, 2025, at Lambeau Field in Green Bay, Wisconsin.

The Packers ‘ defense swarmed and stifled the Vikings’ offense, making life miserable on embattled quarterback J.J. McCarthy, setting quarterback Jordan Love and Green Bay’s offense up for an outburst against their NFC North rivals.

When the dust settled on a 23-6 blowout, Green Bay inched closer to the Chicago Bears for the NFC North lead, but with plenty of work still to come against the NFL’s most difficult remaining strength of schedule.

Christian Watson breaks out for Packers in win over Vikings

According to Pro Football Focus, wide receiver Christian Watson was Green Bay’s highest-graded player in Sunday’s victory over Minnesota, tallying an 81.9 overall grade in his 49 offensive snaps.

Watson seems to be picking up some momentum and getting a little healthier each week since his return from a torn ACL. Against the Vikings, Watson caught a game-high five passes, on nine targets from quarterback Jordan Love, for 49 yards.

On an afternoon where neither passing offense could really get going, Watson was the Packers’ steadiest receiver.

Since returning, Watson has caught 17 passes for 283 yards and a pair of touchdowns, which is the third-most receiving scores on the team, through his first five games back.

Green Bay is going to need for Watson to continue to step up and be a focal point, especially with tight end Tucker Kraft lost for the season, and first-round rookie Matthew Golden still trying to get fully healthy and build his chemistry with Love.
