Kansas City Chiefs QB Patrick Mahomes is missing the NFL playoffs for the first time in his career. This is after the Chiefs finished the season with a 6-11 record for third in the AFC West and 12th in the conference.
To make matters worse, Mahomes suffered a season-ending injury towards the end of the campaign. He tore the ACL in his left knee in the closing stages of Kansas City’s Week 15 loss to the Los Angeles Chargers. Mahomes underwent surgery to address the injury, and he has since been rehabbing the knee.
Mahomes' wife, Brittany Mahomes, has supported the Chiefs star throughout his ordeal. His mother, Randi Mahomes, has also stood by his side as he navigates a tough chapter in his career.
It was Randi Mahomes who took center stage in a recent family event. The 49-year-old mother of three took to social media to share a personal update amid the NFL offseason.
On Wednesday, Randi Mahomes posted some photos of her surprise birthday celebration. Patrick and Brittany Mahomes were part of the event, which took place in the Chiefs star’s Kansas City restaurant, 1587 Prime.
“Felt so incredibly loved this weekend with a surprise early birthday celebration surrounded by family!! So grateful for all the love and a huge thank you to @1587prime for making it so special. Truly feeling blessed ❤️,” she captioned her post.
Randi Mahomes, an event planner, will turn 50 on Sunday. The family decided to celebrate her big day early, with Patrick and Brittany Mahomes hosting the special gathering at their high-end steakhouse.
Patrick Mahomes opened 1587 Prime in September 2025. The restaurant is a joint venture with teammate Travis Kelce — 1587 represents their jersey numbers — along with renowned hospitality group Noble 33.
Patrick Mahomes is the eldest among Randi Mahomes’ three kids. He has a younger brother, Jackson Mahomes, and a younger sister, Mia Randall.
