Rams reportedly meeting with six-time All-Pro LB Bobby Wagner

Shortly after the Seattle Seahawks parted ways with star linebacker Bobby Wagner as part of a presumed rebuild, the six-time First-Team All-Pro was linked with the three other NFC West clubs and was reportedly specifically coveted by the Los Angeles Rams

According to NFL Network's Ian Rapoport, Wagner spent time visiting with the defending Super Bowl champions on Wednesday:

The Athletic's Jourdan Rodrigue wrote in a piece published on March 10 that Wagner, a Los Angeles native, could put pen to paper on a contract with the Rams, in part, to "get two shots a year at the franchise that cut him." That was before the 31-year-old took to Twitter to criticize the Seahawks for allegedly not directly informing him of his impending release and before Seattle general manager John Schneider admitted last week that he "could have handled things better in that regard from a communication standpoint."

Regarding just on-the-field matters, Wagner recorded 170 total tackles, a sack, an interception, a forced fumble and five pass breakups during his final regular season with the Seahawks. The Rams, meanwhile, are trying to keep All-Pro defensive tackle Aaron Donald committed to returning on a new deal following the loss of Von Miller, who signed with the Buffalo Bills.
