Amid the flurry of Sunday's Week 9 NFL action, three-time Pro Bowl wide receiver DeSean Jackson signed with the Las Vegas Raiders. Now, some of the details of the contract are coming out.
The #Raiders are giving WR DeSean Jackson $1 million for the rest of the season, source says. So when all is said and done, if he files for termination pay from the #Rams, he’ll earn more than he would have on his initial 2021 contract.

In late October, after seeing little action in a stacked Los Angeles Rams' wide receiving corps alongside Cooper Kupp, Robert Woods and Van Jefferson, Jackson and the Rams agreed to mutually seek a trade partner. When one didn't come to fruition by the deadline, Los Angeles released Jackson.
After the tragic, fatal car accident involving wideout Henry Ruggs, the team cut ties with the former first-round pick and was in the market for a speedy deep threat. Heading into Week 9, Ruggs had been the team's leading receiver with 469 yards gained through the air.
Jackson was limited to just eight combined games over the 2019 and 2020 seasons but led the NFL in yards per reception at 18.9 in 2018 during his last season with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. In seven contests this year, Jackson has recorded eight receptions on 15 targets for 221 yards and one touchdown.
