On Sunday as the San Francisco 49ers punched their ticket to Super Bowl LIV with a win over the Green Bay Packers in the NFC title game, Rob Lowe became the center of attention.
The reason? Lowe showed up to the game wearing an odd choice of hat, and the NFL world had a ton of fun making fun of him for it.
You see, Lowe wore a ball cap with the NFL logo on it. Many thought he looked like an NFL ref, while others simply ripped him for refusing to take a stand and root for a team openly.
On Monday, just under 24 hours later, Lowe responded.
Taking a page out of Chris Traeger’s book — the “Parks and Recreation” character he plays on television — Lowe mocked himself with a playful quote.
”I LITERALLY love football! And teams. Every one of them! They are all wonderful! Go teams!”— Rob Lowe (@RobLowe) January 21, 2020

That’s a great way to wrap up this silly story with a nice, neat bow. It’s literally also the best thing I saw all day.
