The paths of the Seattle Seahawks and New England Patriots to the Super Bowl were vastly different. Same for their literal drives to Levi's Stadium for LX on February 8.

While the Seahawks boasted a Top 10 defense this season, they won the NFC with an offense that put up 72 points in two playoff wins. In the NFC Championship Game, Seattle had to beat presumed MVP quarterback Matthew Stafford of the Los Angeles Rams. The Patriots, meanwhile, won the AFC by allowing only two touchdowns in three playoff games and beating journeyman quarterback Jared Stidham in the conference championship game.

Super Bowl LX will be played in Santa Clara, California, with the media center and most pre-game events held in . Neither team, however, will stay in the host city.

The NFL announced this week that the Seahawks' headquarters will be in San Jose, five miles east of the Levi's Stadium. The Patriots will stay in Palo Alto, 21 miles to the north.

When Super Bowl 50 was played at Levi's Stadium, the Carolina Panthers practiced at San Jose State and the Denver Broncos at Stanford. Denver won that game, 24-10. Seattle beat the San Francico 49ers at Levi's Stadium in a Week 18 game that earned it the NFC West title and home-field advantage throughout the playoffs.

The Seahawks' headquarters will be approximately 45 minutes from the NFL's media epicenter in San Francisco.
