The Baltimore Ravens have two very solid tight ends in Isaiah Likely and three-time Pro Bowler Mark Andrews. But there will have to be decision made very soon.
Both players' contract expire after the 2025 season, and it is unlikely that the reigning AFC North champions will be able to pay both of them the money they are looking for.
Likely recently appeared on Up & Adams with Kay Adams, and naturally, contract talk arose. The young tight end seemed prepared with a quote that seems to send a message to the team that drafted him in the fourth round of the 2022 NFL Draft.
"We’ll see man. The Flock knows I love them. I love being here. I love being a Raven," Likely said.
Say you want your team to pay you to stay without directly saying it.
Is an Isaiah Likely extension on the horizon with the Ravens?

The glaring difference between the two tight ends is their age. Andrews will be 30 years old by the time the season starts, and Likely just turned 25 in April. As tough as it may sound to Ravens fans, it might be coming time to usher in a new era in Baltimore at the tight end position.
Since Andrews is a franchise legend, he could consider taking a smaller deal to remain a Raven for life. But with how much Likely has improved the past few season, there is no doubt the team will have to make a choice to pay him or not when the time comes.
