The Tennessee Titans were dealt a bad hand this week, as they had the unfortunate duty of announcing that they will be without two of the players who they believed could have been major contributors on the 53-man roster this season, after both players suffered a season-ending injury during the San Francisco 49ers contest on Thursday.
Here is who suffered the injuries.
Jaren Kanak was one of the players who suffered an injury, which is season-ending. This is horrible news, as the injury he suffered was reported to be a pec injury and is expected to have a lengthy recovery. As of now, it doesn't seem that this is an injury that will bleed into the 2027 season, as he will likely be fine to go before the first week of training camp.
The injury he suffered came during the game against the 49ers, causing him to leave early and never return. This is a major loss for the Titans, as he was expected to be a key special teams player and was a player who was finding his footing in the NFL quickly.
Another injury took place when the talented Jaylen Harrell suffered what would later be determined to be a torn ACL. This is a common injury that is known to sideline players for the season, which is the exact case for Harrell. He is set to miss the season, a massive blow for him and for a Titans team that was so excited to get their first look at him.
He was expected to be one of the main contributors for the Titans when it comes to the defensive line. In fact, one could argue that he was set to be a key rotational backup, who would have been getting in the game before any of the backups on the roster.
