U.S. Snowboarder Chloe Kim Makes Personal Admission About Boyfriend Myles Garrett

Chloe Kim and Myles Garrett’s romance stole the spotlight during last month’s Winter Olympic Games, with many praising the couple for their unwavering support of each other’s endeavors. The American snowboarding icon won two gold medals in Milan-Cortina, while the Cleveland Browns star was her loudest cheerleader.

News of the couple’s relationship first emerged in 2025. Kim was spotted at Garrett’s games, and the NFL star later returned the favor by supporting her during the Milan-Cortina Olympics, where she won two gold medals and one silver.

The two have been together for almost a year, though they rarely speak publicly about their relationship. Kim changed that during an appearance on the Not Skinny But Not Fat podcast, where she shared major details about how they met.

The 25-year-old Olympian revealed that she had almost given up on love. Her last boyfriend was fellow snowboarder Evan Berle, whom she dated from 2020 to 2022. While she didn’t completely turn her back on love, she struggled to understand why she hadn’t found the right partner.

That, of course, puzzled some people as well. She is an accomplished athlete and widely regarded as one of the most beautiful Olympians. Kim explained that her busy schedule and public status made dating difficult, noting that some men were intimidated by her success.

"I just want someone to not be intimidated by me and my success," she said in the podcast.

She also outlined what she was looking for in a partner.

“… [I told my therapist] ‘I want somebody that’s tall, handsome, kind, close with their family and I want somebody that equally as successful as me, if not more.”

She has her physical therapist to thank for introducing her to Garrett. On the podcast, she shared that their meeting began after she vented about her love life.

Kim admitted she had become so frustrated that she considered staying single forever. She also wanted to become a mother and had even thought about pursuing that path through IVF.

Her therapist stepped in with someone in mind: Garrett. The two quickly connected over FaceTime and had a brief conversation. At first, Kim thought it would be a one-time interaction and that Garrett wouldn’t follow up.

That wasn’t the case. She said Garrett texted her almost every day after their first meeting. From there, they grew closer until they officially became a couple.

What makes Garrett different from others?

"It's so easy with him. If you're around us, we're always giggling," she said.
