Dallas Cowboys linebacker Micah Parsons is the early favorite for Defensive Player of the Year and he added to his highlight reel on Sunday with a scoop-and-score against Chicago.
It was an absolutely wild play as Chicago's David Montgomery fumbled the ball after a completion, allowing Parsons to pounce on it at the Chicago 36 yard-line. It was at that point that Bears quarterback Justin Fields had a chance to touch him down and end the play only to jump over him, allowing Parsons to get up and run into the end zone for a touchdown.

There is a lot to unwrap on that play. For starters, Parsons covered a ton of ground to get back into the play and recover that fumble. Then there is Fields seemingly going out of his way to avoid touching him as everybody on the field seemed to assume the play was over. Parsons knew it was not and added to Dallas' lead.
