Chicago played catch-up throughout the contest after falling behind 14-3 in the first half. Caleb Williams and company were able to tie the game at 21-21 early in the fourth quarter, but with plenty of time left, Green Bay was able to score off a Josh Jacobs run to seal the deal.
Jordan Love finished with 234 yards and three touchdowns on 17-of-25 passing for the Packers, while Williams recorded 186 yards and two touchdowns on 19-of-35 pass completion.
The Bears entered the contest with the best record in the NFC and the top seed in the NFC North division. With the loss, however, they relinquished their hold on their position.
The Bears entered the contest with a 76% chance to make the playoffs, and a win would have boosted their playoff probability to 93%.
Instead, their playoff chances dropped to 70%, as they fell to second in the NFC North behind the Packers with a 9-4 record.
From first in the NFC, they also fell all the way down to the seventh seed in the conference.
It's not yet too late for the Bears though, and they still have a very good chance of making the postseason. They play the Cleveland Browns in Week 15 and have a rematch against the Packers in Week 16, which will be crucial in reclaiming the top spot in the conference and the division.
