The Green Bay Packers hope for an outstanding 2026 season, with Micah Parsons leading the defense. Parsons is coming off injuries that shortened his 2025 campaign. Heading into NFL training camp this summer, Parsons is making a strong admission about the franchise.
“Packers new facilities are fu****** nuts!! Grateful to be apart of this organization!” Parsons said on X, formerly Twitter.
The defensive star is certainly familiar with the facilities. Parsons is on the mend after tearing his ACL last season. He also underwent a meniscus procedure.
He wants to improve his play on defense, heading into the 2026 season. The Packers defensive star is on a mission to be the best pass rusher in the NFL.
“The goal for me is to complete the season,” Parsons said, per A to Z Sports. “The goal has always been playoffs.”
Parsons will have to wait a while longer before hitting the field. He is limited in what all he can do due to medical rules. He is scheduled to miss the start of the 2026 season due to those regulations.
“We have a pretty strong nine-month rule,” Parsons said. “It’s just all about just do the research and the data. There’s no good outcomes with players coming back early from an ACL, especially if you’re having other things getting fixed up.”
Parsons said it has been difficult to accept the situation.
“Not only is it hard to accept that I’ma miss more time than what I want, but obviously hard to accept the injury,” Parsons said, per NFL.com. “It constantly replays in my brain. … I haven’t accepted it yet, but I work hard as hell every day trying to make sure that I will be better when I come out of this.”
Green Bay made the NFL Playoffs in 2025, even after losing Parsons. Packers fans are fired up to see Parsons on the field again in 2026, whenever that happens.
