What's Going on With Teven Jenkins? Could Cincinnati Bengals Make Another Run at Veteran Guard?

Former Bears guard Teven Jenkins was scheduled to meet with the Seahawks in Seattle on Monday, but his visit didn't show up on the NFL's visits list.

Does that mean Jenkins arrived on Monday night and will visit with Seattle on Tuesday?

Maybe.

It could also be a sign that both sides had a change of heart. The Seahawks are reportedly bringing in veteran guard Dillon Radunz for a visit according to Tom Pelissero of NFL Network. Would they be doing that if they had their eyes on Jenkins?

Does this mean that the Bengals could get back in the mix for the 27-year-old?

Jenkins is considered the top guard remaining on the free agent market. He's appeared in 45 games, making 38 starts over the past four seasons for the Bears. Chicago took him with the 39th overall pick in the 2021 NFL Draft.

The Bengals were hoping to sign Jenkins last week. They were one of three teams interested in the veteran, with the New York Giants and Seahawks also in the mix.

Jenkins posted a 75.4 overall grade according to Pro Football Focus last season.

Could the Bengals revisit the possibility of adding Jenkins? It would make sense, especially now they they have long-term deals in place for Ja'Marr Chase and Tee Higgins.

Despite their interest in him last week, there's been no indication that Cincinnati has renewed interest in the former second round pick.

They do have a gaping hole at guard and he's a young, ascending player that could be an ideal fit in Cincinnati's offensive line room.
