Panthers place standout rookie on season-ending IR

The middle of the Carolina Panthers defense officially got a lot thinner on Tuesday. As announced by the team this afternoon, inside linebackers Trevin Wallace (shoulder) and Claudin Cherelus (toe) have been placed on injured reserve.

Panthers reportedly losing another LB to season-ending injury

The Carolina Panthers will seemingly have to finish the 2024 campaign without another one of their inside linebackers. According to Mike Kaye of The Charlotte Observer, Claudin Cherelus sustained a season-ending toe injury in this past Sunday’s 30-14 loss to the Dallas Cowboys.

According to Mike Kaye, the Panthers will place LB Claudin Cherelus on injured reserve today.  Kaye says Cherelus suffered a season-ending toe injury that will require surgery.
