A familiar face has returned to the Kansas City Chiefs, but in a slightly different capacity. Former Chiefs WR Gehrig Dieter, who retired from the NFL in 2022, is among the coaching staff at rookie minicamp for the second consecutive season as a coaching intern.
The Kansas City Chiefs have been plagued by injuries to their top two wide receivers this season, and with the NFL’s trade deadline rapidly approaching, some fans are hoping that general manager Brett Veach will make a splash move to acquire another pass-catcher in the next few weeks.
