The Columbus Blue Jackets signed center Isac Lundestrom to a two-year contract, according to multiple reports.

The news was first reported by The Athletic’s Aaron Portzline.

In 2024-25, Lundestrom scored four goals and 11 assists for 15 points in 79 regular-season games with the Anaheim Ducks. Through seven NHL seasons, all spent with the Ducks, Lundestrom has 35 goals and 49 assists for 84 points in 337 career regular-season games.

His best season came in 2021-22, scoring 16 goals and 13 assists for 29 points.

Lundestrom also played 55 AHL regular-season games with the San Diego Gulls, scoring six goals and 21 assists for 27 points.

Drafted No. 23 overall by the Ducks in the 2017 NHL Entry Draft, Lundestrom played in his native Sweden, scoring 11 goals and 19 assists for 30 points in 108 games with Lulea HF in the Swedish Elite League.

Internationally, he represented Sweden at the World Junior Championships twice, scoring three goals and three assists for six points in 12 games across the two tournaments. He helped them earn silver in 2018.

The Blue Jackets went 40-33-9 with 89 points, fourth in the Metropolitan Division and falling just two points shy of one of the Wild Card spots in the Eastern Conference.

Defenseman Zach Werenski led the team in assists with 59, which combined with his 23 goals resulted in a team-leading 82 points. Right behind him was Kirill Marchenko, who hit career highs in all offensive categories, scoring 31 goals and 43 assists for 74 points. Kent Johnson was third in scoring, scoring 24 goals and 33 assists for 57 points.
