Heads were turned on Monday when Flames goaltender Jacob Markstrom hurried off the ice after taking a puck to the inside-blocker area of his right hand while making a save. Per Eric Francis, blood was pouring from what looked like his finger.
Head Coach Ryan Huska did not have much to share following practice. “He’s gone to get looked at. We’ll go from there.”
The Calgary Flames face off against the 8-10-4 Minnesota Wild tomorrow at 7 p.m.
