The Ottawa Senators jersey is one of the most consistent in the NHL, and now, the team have unveiled a brand new look to be debuted in 2025/26.
For a while now, Ottawa Senators fans have been begging for a new jersey, and ahead of the 2025/26 season after finally breaking their Stanley Cup Playoffs drought, those fans will officially be getting their wish.
This week at a season ticket holder event, the Senators unveiled a brand new red and gold jersey, one that looks like a classic Senators jersey while adding a little twist with the gold.
While it's clear a lot of time went into this jersey as the team looked to add to what has been a solid rotation of jerseys for a number of years now, the response on social media has been a little underwhelming, with many noting their hatred for the jersey on this post.
It's not been made clear yet how often these jerseys will be worn next season, and perhaps once they're seen on the players on the ice, the response could be a little more positive, but for now there are plenty of question marks over how this will look and if the team did enough to separate this from their regular looks.
In current Ottawa Senators history, we've seen very little change to the logo on the front of the jersey, with the team sticking with a similar look over the past five years, and given the chance to make a massive change up, this one has fallen flat for many people, so now the organization will need to hope these look better on the ice as they look to keep the momentum of the 2024/25 campaign rolling.
