The Dallas Stars may be looking to make some big changes this off-season, and now a top insider has revealed they are listening to trade offers on Jason Robertson.
Despite making the Western Conference Finals in 2025, the 2024/25 campaign must be a major disappointment for the Dallas Stars, as they came into this season with a Stanley Cup or bust mentality.
Unfortunately, they ran into the Edmonton Oilers for the second straight year, and now, they head into another off-season looking to find a way to upgrade this team to finally get over the hump.
Shockingly, a new report from Rick Dhaliwal has revealed how they may look to shake things up in 2025, as the Canucks Insider has reported that the Stars are indeed listening to trade offers on one of their top stars.
It's unconfirmed at this point just how active General Manager Jim Nill and the Stars are in trade talks or whether they're simply just listening to offers, but given how they fell just short once again, trading one of their top pieces for some more depth could be a way to help them get over the hump.
Already this off-season, the Sabres, Wild and Golden Knights among many others have been revealed as teams ready to trade some key pieces, and with so many teams close to contending heading into 2025/26, there should be plenty of interest in Robertson if he is indeed available.
At this point however, there isn't very much known about this situation, but the mere fact that this has been revealed shows how aggressive the Stars could be in looking to change their core moving forward, so expect this to develop over the off-season as Dallas get more and more desperate to finally make the Stanley Cup Finals.
