The Cincinnati Cyclones have signed forward Adam Kydd to an ECHL contract for the remainder of the 2025-26 season. Kydd, 23, had eight goals and 33 assists for 41 points in 28 games in his final year in USports (West) First All-Star Team, as well as leading USports in assists. He had a goal and three assists for four points in five playoff games. Kydd also served as the captain of the Dinos during his final season in USports. He is the second USports signing by the Cyclones this week, following the signing of Liam Kidney from Acadia University.

The Regina, Saskatchewan, native spent the last three years in USports with the University of Calgary. During his time with the Dinos, he had 19 goals and 49 assists for 68 points in 62 games. He would add three goals and five assists for eight points in 13 USports Playoff games. Prior to playing in USports, Kydd spent four seasons in the WHL with the Calgary Hitmen and Kelowna Rockets. In 193 WHL games, he had 53 goals and 81 assists for 134 points. He wore an “A” with the Rockets during the 2022-23 season. Kydd had two goals and three assists for five points in nine WHL Playoff games.
