After missing 52 games last season due to shoulder surgery, Utah Mammoth defenseman Sean Durzi will now be out for a month with an upper-body injury.
Durzi, 26, has one assist, four blocks and three hits in two games this season. Last season, he totaled 11 points (four goals, seven assists), 52 blocks and 15 hits in 30 games.
In Saturday's 3-2 overtime road win against the Nashville Predators, Durzi took a hard hit and went to the bench shortly before Dylan Guenther won it for Utah.
Over five seasons with the Los Angeles Kings (2021-23), Arizona Coyotes (2023-24) and Mammoth, Durzi has 118 points (25 goals, 93 assists), 191 penalty minutes, 479 blocks and 204 hits.
