A Trevor Zegras extension is not imminent

Kevin Kurz: There is nothing imminent on the Trevor Zegras contract extension with the Philadelphia Flyers, despite the talk that is out there. It’s believed that it will eventually get done, but it’s false that they are already there.

Keys to the offseason for the Buffalo Sabres

Ryan S. Clarke and Kristen Shilton of ESPN: Re-signing pending UFA winger Alex Tuch is the top priority for Buffalo Sabres GM Jarmo Kekalainen. He is coming off a 33-goal season and would be the top free agent if he goes to July 1st. They’ll need to make him a big offer if they want to get him to stay. Peyton Krebs and Zach Benson are pending RFAs.

The Sabres need to add some depth scoring and physicality. They could also use some defensive help. Potential free agent target that may fill their needs include forward Anthony Mantha and Viktor Arvidsson, and defenseman Rasmus Andersson.
