Springfield Thunderbirds Announce Training Camp Roster

The Springfield Thunderbirds 2026-27 season starts next Saturday when they face the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins on the road in a rematch of last season’s Eastern Conference Finals. They play their home opener the following Saturday against the Laval Rocket. Springfield’s training camp roster features 18 players with ten of them being forwards, six of those being defenseman, and two goalies.

The Thunderbirds will face the Providence Bruins this coming weekend for their two preseason games. The first game will be Friday night at the MassMutual Center with puck drop at 7:05 PM EST. The other game will be Saturday at Amica Mutual Pavilion at 7:05 PM EST.
