Edmonton Oilers, Florida Panthers competing for Stanley Cup

On one hand, the fan might have a point because Edmonton is in big trouble. Losing a Game 5 at home with the series tied at two is usually the kiss of death. A long plane ride to Florida is now ahead of the Oilers, as they find themselves on the brink of elimination. Lord Stanley will be in the building Tuesday night, the same arena it has spent the past year.

But Edmonton has been in this position before. Going back to last season, these same two teams were competing for a championship.
