Here's a list of notable events on February 9 in Chicago Blackhawks history. On February 9, 2011, the Blackhawks acquired Michael Frolik and Alexander Salak from the Florida Panthers in exchange for Jack Skille, Hugh Jessiman, and David Pacan.
Frolik, 34, played nearly 900 games in the NHL before departing for Europe last year.
Once a solid full-time NHL player, Michael Frolik’s career didn’t seem at all done, even after one bad season split between the Calgary Flames and the Buffalo Sabres.
The St. Louis Blues have brought in a ton of veteran experience in one day, signing James Neal and Michael Frolik to professional tryouts.
