Boston Bruins goaltending prospect Philip Svedeback, who is in his senior season at Providence College, is set to miss several weeks with a sprained MCL he suffered during a 5-1 loss to Alaska last Saturday.
Going into the 2024-25 season, the Boston Bruins will have four players entering their junior seasons at the NCAA level. This is where we not only get into the top-tier of the Bruins prospects, but we also meet their only goaltender in the NCAA ranks.
Philip Svedeback was born on May 28, 2002, in Stockholm, Sweden. The goaltender spent two seasons with the Wings HC J16 team and finished with a 2.34 goals-against average and a .919 save percentage during the 2017-18 season.
