Jason La Canfora was bashed on social media on Tuesday night after suggesting that New York Yankees star outfielder Aaron Judge's hit by pitch (and possible injury) was "karma."
Judge was forced from the Orioles-Yankees AL East clash in the bottom of the fourth inning after he was plunked on the hand during his third-inning at-bat. The 2022 AL MVP initially remained in the contest to run the bases and play the field, but he was eventually replaced by Trent Grisham.
La Canfora argued that the situation may have been New York outfielder Juan Soto's fault for his baserunning mistake in the bottom of the first frame.

"If Aaron Judge is hurt, he should have a long talk about his jacka-- RF about how he runs the bases. Getting pinch hit for now. Oh well. You know what they say about karma" La Canfora wrote on X.
Baltimore third baseman Jordan Westburg exited the contest following his collision with Soto in the first inning due to left hip discomfort, which set off La Canfora's criticism of the Yankees right fielder.
"Juan Soto manages to make contact with a lot of fielders. He's pretty horses--t that way. Maybe someone needs to throw 99 right in his ribs, soon," the former NFL insider wrote.
"If Soto gets through this series without some significant bruising the Orioles are doing it wrong. His bulls--t, bushleague act on the basepaths is getting people hurt. Time for him to feel some pain too," he added.
Amazing that a base runner found a way not to plow right into the infielder and get called for interference and use it as a chance to cheapshot someone. Make Soto watch it 5000 times like something out of A Clockwork Orange.

When social media users started to call out La Canfora for calling Judge's exit "karma," the analyst doubled down.
"Watch the game big guy. Soto ain't fooling anybody. Maybe Suarez was sending a message that absolutely should be sent and maybe he wasn't ... But that's karma. Your RF is a jacka-- that keeps going out of his way to run into people. Bulls--t bush league baseball," he wrote.
