Watch: Jude Bellingham and Harry Kane save England from elimination

Euro Tournament favorite England was one minute from crashing out altogether until star Jude Bellingham scored a 95th minute goal to save his team against Slovakia on Sunday afternoon.

Wave after wave of English attacks had been falling short against the stout Slovakian defense until Bellingham swung a sick bicycle-kick equalizer into the back of the net from Kyle Walker's desperate throw-in.

The sensational strike sent the match to extra time where shortly after kicking off, English striker Harry Kane directed a header into the goal in what would end up as the game-winner.

Bellingham and Kane's scores were incredibly England's first and second shots on target in the entire match.

Slovakia thought they were on the brink of a monumental upset after forward Ivan Schranz shocked England fans in the first half, slipping past the entire defense to send a well-placed ball past goalkeeper Jordan Pickford to give Slovakia an early 1-0 lead.

England had scored first in each of its matches at Euro 2024 until Sunday's match, while Slovakia continued its streak of scoring within the first 30 minutes with Schranz's 25th minute strike.

Schranz, despite being eliminated, is now tied with Germany's Jamal Musiala and Georgia's Georges Mikautadze as the tournament's top scorers with three goals apiece.

England now advances to play Switzerland – who defeated defending champions Italy on Saturday – in the quarterfinals which are set to take place July 5-6.
